Yesterday Puff Daddy announced he is taking the Bad Boy family on tour. I posted in on my facebook and my entire timeline blew up with people wanting to see Puff on stage with Lil Kim, MA$E, 112, Total and more. I mean for most of us we were in our early teens when Puff came to the Sky Dome for the No Way Out tour. I don’t know anyone who actually even went to that. Well it got me thinking if Puff could round up the artists that don’t hate him or need money why can’t some other historic rap labels.
JAY Z MEMPHIS BLEEK, BEANIE SIGEL, FREEWAY, YOUNG GUNZ, JUST BLAZE & DJ CLUE
This is a no brainer for me, I mean as soon as Puff announced his tour I immediately thought I would love to see Jay take The Dynasty on the road. It is the 20th anniversary of Reasonable Doubt so something like this may happen in some form. Now if they wanted to make this tour better bring Dame Dash out.
SHADY / G-UNIT / AFTERMATH
EMINEM, DR. DRE, 50 CENT, THE GAME, G-UNIT, D12
In the early mid-2000s this was the label. There was nothing bigger than this trifecta who when you look at it actually never went on tour together as a whole label. There was Anger Management, and Up In Smoke which were both legendary. It would be great to see Em, 50 & Dre share the stage one more time.
CASH MONEY RECORDS
LIL WAYNE, JUVENILE, BIG TYMERS
Probably a long shot but, if everyone could get on the same page we could have a great show. Unfortunately B.G. is locked up and is not coming out anytime soon.
Man so many rap reunions that could happen, I only touched on 3, there’s still Ruff Ryders, So So Def and Rawkus who could put together some great tours.
