EVENT: HIP HOP SUMMIT & FRESHEST GOODS MARKET 04|01|11

The CBC and Manifesto have joined forces to bring you the HIP HOP SUMMIT. It’s a FREE all day long event taking place the CBC Atrium on Friday April 1st. The event will feature a B-Boy/B-girl battle, panel discussions, performances and the premiere of the Hip Hop Summit Concert featuring k-os, Kardinal Offishall, Shad, Saukrates, Classified, Maestro, Michie Mee, Red1 of Rascalz, Choclair, Dream Warriors, Ghetto Concept, Reema Major, Cadence Weapon, Skratch Bastid, and more!

There will be a Freshest Goods Market open at the summit. I got some of the freshest goods that toronto produces to set up shop and sell their products.

1:30-4pm
B-Boy/B-Girl Battle (2-on-2) and performances in the CBC Atrium
Featuring: DJ Grouch, DJ L’oqenz, Q-Rock, King Reign, Thrust, and 8 b-boy/b-girl crews.

1:00-4pm
Mindbender presents panel discussions in Glenn Gould Studio
Featuring: Ian Kamau, Jedi, Mel Boogie, Frostimus Prime, Dan-E-O, Big C, and more.
Hosted by Dalton Higgins, Garvia Bailey and Adhimu “Mindbender” Stewart

4-6pm
The Big Norm Show in the CBC Atrium
Featuring: B-Boy/B-Girl Finals, D-Sisive, DJ Dopey, Scott Jackson, Diana Reyes, Northbuck, Lennie Len’s Flavor Shop, and PG.

6-8pm
Debut Exclusive Screening of the Hip Hop Summit Concert (recorded on March 29)
