ONE WEEK AWAY: RED BULL THRE3STYLE TORONTO QUALIFIER

Next Thursday all hell is about to break loose at Revival as 8 of the city’s best DJ’s go head to head in the Red Bull Thre3style battle. I’ve been going to these to cheer on my homie DJ Mensa. If you’re unfamiliar with a Red Bull Thre3style I’ll explain how it works, 8 DJs each have 15 minutes to play any genre of music and rock the crowd the DJ that gets the crowd going wins. Simple as that.The 8 DJs are DJ Scuffs, James Redi, Yobi, The Frandiscos, Mista Jiggz, Spoonz, Makem and Etro. 8 Talented DJs it’s gonna be a great night.

ONE WEEK AWAY – THAT SH!T CRAY

We are one week away from the return of one of my favorite parties ever, THAT SH!T CRAY!!!! This the party dedicated to bangers the ignorant stuff you like, Hip-Hop party anthems about poppin bottles, the finer things in life and shakin ass. If you ever wanted to just let loose and go nuts to that Waka Flocka song you never got a chance to at one of those parties where everyone just stands around waiting for their picture to be taken so they can see it on Facebook this your chance. If your a person that I just mentioned this isn’t for you, we don’t have a photographer and if we did he’d be in the party getting fucked up too. We moved the party from 751 to The Crawford we need more room for people to get down and throw them bows. We’re also celebrating my homie DJ Mensa’s birthday so you know it’s gonna be a wild night, especially since the bar is open until 4:00AM!!! That’s right we goin’ till the sun comes up. So I’ve given you 1 week notice, if you need to take Saturday off do it now.

ONE WEEK AWAY: THAT SH!T CRAY: BASED ON A TRILL STORY

I’m beyond excited for next Friday’s party THAT SH!T CRAY at 751. Not only because we’ll be celebrating the birthday of my friend Arowbe but because this is one of the best parties in the city. We have DJ Mensa and Amy Traphouse spinning the best Bounce, Trap Rap, Luxury Rap, Dirty South and New York street music ever at 751. The cost is $5. This isn’t a stand and look pretty party if you’re coming be prepared to sweat, jump, get pushed, push back and have one hell of a time. The party in December was insane and this one I expect to be even crazier.

ONE WEEK AWAY: EKKO EFFECT KWSL RELEASE PARTY

We’re one week away from the release of Toronto MC Ekko Effect’s debut mixtape Knowledge Speaks Wisdom Listens. To celebrate the release of the mixtape Ekko will be having a release party at College Street Bar one day before it’s release. Come by to hear tracks from it and Ekko will be performing songs with some special guests.

ONE WEEK AWAY – CYHI THE PRYNCE AT OPERA HOUSE

We’re one week away from when G.O.O.D Music artist Cyhi The Prynce touches down in Toronto for his debut performance at The Opera House.
