After a loooooong hiatus I’ve finally brought back Monday Music Round-Up. The reason for the long hiatus, well there’s 2. 1 I was just to busy and 2 there was never enough songs coming out to fill a post up with. Well finally there are. The Round-Up is back, I really shouldn’t call it a mixtape round-up anymore because it isn’t all mixtapes. Either way it’s some good music for you to bump this week. Big Jacks finally released his Daylight mix which you can hear anytime you check out an Aritzia store across North America. Now you can take the mix with you anywhere. MONDAY MUSIC ROUND-UP: RASOUL & STILL WATERS, DRAKE, SHAUN BOOTHE & MORE

Finally I’m back with Monday Music round-up. I have 5 dope songs that dropped in the last week. Drake continues to bear his soul on the mic. I wasn’t a big fan of “Marvin’s Room” after my first listen but after a second listen I like it. Rasoul and Still Waters “Ordinary Man” got me hooked after 1 listen this song is so dope. You can listen to it now and it will be on itunes internationally tomorrow. Chris Brown dropped a remix to his single “She Ain’t You” featuring SWV. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius the end result is amazing fans of both artists will be pleased. Shaun Boothe just put out a new joint with Kim Davis called “Do It For You”, he’s got another hit on his hands. I also put a new joint from Big Sean produced by No I.D.

MONDAY MUSIC ROUND-UP 04|25|11 L FEATURING PHOENIX PAGLIACCI, EKKO EFFECT, BAD NEWZ & SMASH BROVAZ – PAST DUE REMIX

It’s been awhile since I’ve done Monday Music Round-Up. I decided it’s time to bring it back. There weren’t to many songs I was feeling from last week so I decided I’ll post one song. It’s from L, he recently released his mixtape THE LAST 12 MONTHS. One of the stand out tracks from the mixtape is “Past Due Remix”. L brought along Bad Newz and Ekko Effect from the Winners Circle crew, frequent collaborator pHoenix Pagliacci and The Smash Brovaz to join him on the remix to his 1st single. The song is full of energy and it brings me back to those late 90s monster collabs when everyone tried to
outdo the other person on the track. Trust me everyone brings the heat on this one.
