TUESDAY MIXTAPE ROUND-UP: RICH KIDD & DJ NANA, CASEY VEGGIES, GAME & MORE

Holy new mixtapes!!! It’s another onslaught of new mixtapes most of these are so new I haven’t gotten a chance to take full listens like I normally do. I did hear Rich Kidd Vs DJ Nana 2 and it is some of the best Hip Hop to come out of Toronto. Another tape I heard was DJ Riccachet’s Heavy Rotation 4 Year Anniversary mix, he left no stone unturned if you ever have a house party just throw this on. The other mixtapes added to the round-up are The Game, Casey Veggies, N.O.R.E and XXL’s annual Freshmen mixtape. I don’t get why Game is doing a mixtape but their good listens, Casey Veggies I just started to get into so I can’t wait to hear his new one, you can’t go wrong with a N.O.R.E. tape and the XXL should be a good way to hear their Freshmen.

TUESDAY MIXTAPE ROUND-UP: STALLEY & BEI MAEJOR

I have a small round-up this week. I’m still bumpin’ all of the releases from last week’s round-up. Today I have new releases from two up and coming artists Stalley and Bei Maejor. Stalley is the newest member of Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Empire from Cleveland. This guy can rap and he’s got a cool vibe to his music, my favorite track on his tape Savage Journey to the American Dream is “Everything New” produced by Chad Hugo of The Neptunes. The next mixtape is from a young R&B singer named Bei Maejor, I’ve been following his music for awhile he’s a great story teller and writer. I’m surprised he hasn’t blown up yet. So there you have it two new artist to get familiar with this week.

BEI MAEJOR – UPSCALE.

TUESDAY MIXTAPE ROUND-UP – MAC MILLER, JR MINT & JULIAN

Some new mixtapes this week. The 1st one is the new release from Mac Miller called Macadelic. It’s the first thing I’ve downloaded from Mac Miller and I like it, I can see why this guy is getting the praise he gets. Another guy who deserves that same praise is Toronto MC JR Mint, he recently dropped The Vacation Mixtape which is another round of dope rhymes on some great beats. The last mixtape is from a new Toronto artist named Julian, a friend of mine emailed me his debut release Black Heart and it instantly went into rotation. I have a feeling we’ll be hearing a lot of him in the future. Trust me all 3 of these mixtapes are worthy of iPod space, download them all below. Click on the mixtape title.

TUESDAY MIXTAPE ROUND-UP: TONA, ACTION BRONSON, BIG K.R.I.T. AND MORE

Got some great mixtapes today, two of them are ones I’ve had in rotation all last week, one I just downloaded today and one I’m listening to right now. Last week Big K.R.I.T and Toronto’s own Tona drop 4eva N A Day and Reform School respectively. This is the first release I’ve gotten of K.R.I.T’s and I really enjoyed it really good production and he reminds me of Big Boi. Now Tona I’m now stranger to Reform School is one of his best releases to date. If you’re familiar with his music some songs may be old but there’s a lot of great new material. Speaking on new music I checked out Action Bronson’s new mixtape called Blue Chips. I just downloaded based on the album cover and all the buzz I’ve heard about Bronson. I gotta say it’s really good, I only listened to it once but I liked it. He still reminds me of a white Rick Ross but he can rhyme. Right now I’m listening to G.O.O.D. Music member Teyana Taylor’s The Misunderstanding of Teyana Taylor. It’s pretty good she’s a better singer than a rapper and she sings more than she raps, the production is on point too. So there you have it some new music to download and enjoy for the week.

TUESDAY MIXTAPE ROUND-UP: DJ MENSA, DJ RICCACHET, T.I. RICK ROSS & MORE

These 5 releases have been the only mixtapes I’ve been playing and I thought that they should be shared in this weeks round-up. First my friends DJ Mensa and DJ Riccachet drop some great new mixes for the start of the year Bundled Up and In The Meantime PT 2 respectively. They both have great new songs, blends and more. I’ll admit I’m late on the 2 Chainz train but I’m on bored now and I’m a fan. His mixtape T.R.U. REALigion could easily be called a free album. If you aren’t familiar with the next big thing from the south download it. Speaking of mixtapes that sound like albums T.I. and Rick Ross’ new releases could easily be classified as albums. Their albums better be nothing short of amazing when they come out.
